Isaac Cruz 🇲🇽 vs Lamont Roach 🇺🇸
Dec. 6 | San Antonio, TX | Amazon Prime PPV

On Saturday, December 6, live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz (28-3-1, 18 KOs) steps back into the ring to face reigning WBA super featherweight world champion Lamont Roach Jr. (25-1-2, 10 KOs) in a high-stakes clash for the interim WBC super lightweight title at 140 pounds. The bout headlines a PBC Pay-Per-View on Prime Video, continuing the platform’s run of big-ticket boxing nights in the United States.
For Cruz, this is the next chapter in a pressure-filled rise through the weight classes. After years as a must-see action fighter at lightweight, going the distance with Gervonta Davis and building a cult following with his swarming, no-steps-back style, “Pitbull” has embraced the jump to 140, claiming an interim belt with a grinding win over Omar Salcido in July. Now, in front of a partisan Mexican-American crowd in San Antonio, he looks to prove he is not just a TV favorite but a genuine force at junior welterweight.
Roach walks in as the current WBA super featherweight champion at 130 pounds, but he is chasing something bigger than simply defending a belt. The Washington, D.C. technician is moving up two divisions after a controversial split draw with Gervonta Davis at 135 that many observers felt he edged. Instead of waiting on a Tank rematch that never materialized, Roach takes the risk and steps into Cruz’s new neighborhood at 140 in search of marquee status and a second world title in a higher division.
Notable undercards include a middleweight unification co-main event featuring WBA champion Erislandy “The American Dream” Lara (31-3-3, 19 KOs) taking on unbeaten IBF/WBO champion Janibek Alimkhanuly (17-0, 12 KOs) in a three-belt showdown that moves the winner within one step of becoming undisputed at 160 pounds. Also featured is a WBC super featherweight world title fight between reigning champion O’Shaquie Foster (23-3, 12 KOs) and two-division titleholder Stephen “Cool Boy Steph” Fulton Jr. (23-1, 8 KOs), who jumps up from featherweight seeking a championship in a third weight class. Rounding out the championship action, the interim WBC middleweight title is on the line as heavy-handed contender Jesus “Mono” Ramos Jr. (23-1, 19 KOs) meets the resurgent Shane Mosley Jr. (22-4, 14 KOs), with Ramos looking to reassert himself in the division and Mosley riding a strong winning streak into the biggest opportunity of his career.
